TRAPPED IN THE PAST,  TORMENTED BY MEMORY,
AN ODISSEY  TO  THE LIBERATION OF  THE SOUL

Opens on May 10 at Corals Gallery, the New Chapter of the Successful Traveling Solo Art Show by Daniel Salvi "Goddesses & Muses", a multisensory journey focused on the theme of memory, its idealization, its oblivion.

Daniel Salvi's "Goddesses & Muses" arrives to the 4th edition, the second in Milan. The traveling solo Show of the Italian Artist is a modern celebration of women, seen as the ultimate expression of the human life.

The Italian Artist created a Pantheon for the new millennium, where surrealism, hyperrealism, classicism, and symbolism meet in silent meditative visual dimensions.

The Show connects the most iconic pieces of the author into a unique journey through emotions, surrealism, and hyperrealism. Guided by a full audio explanation, the viewer will enhance their visit through a new Original Art Perfume Called "Oblivion", created for the exhibition, through which they'll be able to enter even more the mystical domain of the Goddesses and Muses.

THE VISION BEHIND "OBLIVION"

The new chapter "OBLIVION", curated by Greta Zuccali, is inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche, the who considered forgetting a vital and necessary function for individual health and well-being.

According to him, the ability to forget past experiences was essential to be able to live in the present and look to the future with optimism.

The philosopher also argued that memory, although valuable in some respects, can also be a heavy burden.

Being trapped in the past, tormented by memories, can in fact prevent one from fully experiencing life and the present moment.

Forgetting, on the contrary, allows one to free oneself from the burden of the past and focus on what is important in the present.

Embracing this vision, the art created by Daniel Salvi with the help of artificial intelligence, transports us into a future rooted in the past and looks to the goddesses and muses of classical antiquity as the ultimate example of beauty, and at the same time orients us towards a new horizon of investigation, where algorithms and neural networks meet.

Channelling, educating, and controlling the oblivion of the past as a condition to make possible future development, a positive process of continuous rebirth and evolution.

It is an art, the one created with the help of artificial intelligence that is destined not only to remain, but to consolidate itself as one of the crucial means of expression of the new century. Its impact is already creating a revolution comparable to that, at the beginning of the 20th century, generated by the arrival and expansion of the photographic and cinematographic medium.

HOW DOES A GODDESS COME TO LIFE?

When Daniel Salvi shapes the raw material coming from artificial intelligence and photography into an art that deeply talks about humanity and feelings, then a Goddess comes to life.

They are beings who - while remaining imperfect - stand out as the center of their respective universes. They invite us to get to know them, but in reality what happens is that, in meeting them, all we do is get to know ourselves a little better.

Their eyes looking at us ask us questions that transcend the facade of reality that we have built with difficulty and that look at our real being. The invitation of the artist is to take the needed time to reach the answers.

Every meeting is special, immerse in the here and in the present moment: that's why – like for traditional paintings – almost every piece of Daniel Salvi is in a single copy.

THE ARTIST, DANIEL SALVI (Italy, 1994 –)

Daniel Salvi is a visionary artist at the forefront of digital graphic design and AI artistry.

His journey began in adolescence, marked by a profound ability to communicate emotions visually, and the winning of numerous graphic design contests. Salvi's passion for visual communication led him to the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he not only earned a Master’s Degree in Communication Design but also contributed as a Guest Lecturer and Teaching Assistant, even before graduation.

In 2016, Salvi's ambition materialized into his own advertising agency, "Daniel Salvi - Branding & Design Consulting", marking his entry into the world of international communication projects. Salvi's career took a significant turn in 2018 when he became the assistant and direct student of Armando Milani, then President of Alliance Graphique Internationale Italy. This mentorship opened doors to participate in the organization of the acclaimed “UBUNTU” exhibition at the MUBA Museum in Milan. Here, Salvi’s works were displayed alongside creations of renowned international designers like Milton Glaser and Massimo Vignelli.

Since 2023, Salvi has ventured into the realm of artistic visualizations, where he fuses his creativity with AI technology to explore human emotions and the unconscious. His innovative work in this field is not just a continuation of his artistic journey but a pioneering effort in the evolving landscape of digital art, establishing him as a leading figure in the intersection of technology, design, and emotional expression.
