WHAT IF YOUR REFUGE
WAS NOT A PLACE,
BUT A PERSON?

In The Secret Garden, Daniel Salvi evokes an intimate inner sanctuary where the social mask finally falls away, and what remains is bare, honest truth.

It is the rare quiet of being received without having to prove anything. In this hidden haven, vulnerability is not weakness: it's held, and protected.

Care and closeness become a discreet strength that dissolves emotional loneliness and gives back breath — like a warm light breaking through the grey of life, promising that everything will be alright.

THE STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK

From OUTER DARKNESS
to INNER LIGHT

It was the first days of spring in Berlin, and yet the cold still felt sharp.

The rain had finally stopped, and I had left my home in Tiergarten the way one escapes a prison: without a plan, with only the need to breathe.

I walked; I just kept walking.

The first time I checked my watch, two hours had already passed, and dusk had swallowed the voices in the park. With no streetlights, the darkness stayed low, close to the ground, and I could see little beyond my steps on the damp grass.

At that exact point in my solitude, a gust of wind cut through me—icy—and jolted me awake. I suddenly realized I was walking, yes, but not to reach a place: with my body I was chasing a feeling of warmth that could not—must not—exist outside of me.

I was searching for a hidden haven, a secret garden—one of those that reveals itself only when, naked and vulnerable, we sink into the brightest fissures of our memories.

CRAFTED IN ITALY,
HAND-FINISHED BY THE ARTIST
IN THE COUNTRYSIDE OF MILAN.

Each print is produced to strict museum-grade standards: 100% cotton paper, archival inks, and a boutique Italian laboratory where every sheet is examined, one by one.

Only what is flawless is kept.

Before it is packaged, the work is hand-signed, numbered, and titled in Italian by the artist in his studio outside Milan, then placed in a protective archival mat, ready to live with you for decades.

THE SCENT
THAT WELCOMES YOU
AS YOU OPEN

To extend the experience beyond the image, the inside of the packaging is delicately scented with “Secret Garden” by Italian perfumer Riccardo Barazzetta, created as an olfactory translation of the artwork

The artwork is kept untouched and sealed; the fragrance is reserved for the packaging alone. It rises on first opening, making the unboxing a personal multisensory experience.

The perfume bottle is not included.
